Be Strong and Behold!

This is the most anxious generation in the history of the world. In fact, in 2019 – before the pandemic and social upheaval began – 51% of Americans said they were living “anxious” lives. So more people than not say “my life is marked by anxiety.” Rather than living in the peace and promises of God, they are living in the panics and paranoias of life.

When we operate in fear rather than faith in God and His promises, we make foolish decisions and turn to the wrong places to meet our deepest needs. Secular culture cannot deliver what we need, only the Savior Christ can. Jesus, and Jesus alone, can give us the inward strength and power to stand against the winds of the storm. So take courage and be strong. Grab hold of God’s promises and know that He will fight for you and rescue you, even in the middle of tribulation!
