God's Blueprint for Marriage

Our scripture gives us God’s blueprint for marriage, and if we follow its design, our marriages will be bountiful, beautiful, growing and significant. How can I say that with such certainty? Because God’s way works.

So what is God’s formula for marriage? There are three elements. The first is EXCLUSIVITY. We leave father and mother and all other relationships for one person, our wife or husband, with whom we will go through life – the ups and the downs. Then there is SINGULARITY. Two become one. That means we stick together like Gorilla Glue! We are faithfully intertwined in every way, every attitude, every situation. Finally, there is TRANSPARENCY. “The man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.” There are no secrets or hidden agendas, only total honesty… warts and all! So, do you want a great marriage? Then follow God’s divine blueprint because His way always works.
