Trustworthy

A man visited a farm and noticed there were stakes driven into the ground all around the property.  When asked, the farmer explained that, when he first started planting, he would bump into rocks buried in the ground and they would break his plow.  So, he put stakes all over to indicate where the rocks were located.

That is how the commands of God are for us. They have been given to us by God as “stakes” that say – stay away from these dangers, these rocks, that will blunt your life and make you ineffective.  Heed His commands – and your life will become fertile soil that produces a beautiful harvest.
