Which Person Are You?

The Bible teaches there are three types of people – the natural, the carnal and the spiritual. The natural person, although created in the image of God, is not in God’s family and lives according to the world. The carnal person is a Christian and in God’s family but is not growing spiritually, living instead like the natural person. His works are ungodly and he does not grow spiritually. Sadly, the effectiveness and power of the carnal person’s witness is weakened and can lead people to believe that Christians are no different than anyone else. The spiritual person, however, has a brand new nature. He or she has received Christ and is in God’s family and growing spiritually. Which person are you? Ask God today to help you live your life empowered by the Holy Spirit because the effectiveness and power of your witness is vitally important … and needed!
